Click on the "Make Google Chrome my default browser" option. Can I make Chrome update automatically on Mac?Click on the "three dots" icon in the top outer right corner. Now, I open the browser, it opens a new tab. Then, they forced 2-step authentication on me. And the "remember this device thing doesn't work, so I have to do it every time. But it doesn't really turn off. It was annoying, and I turned it off. It still wants me to log in. But guess what? Doesn't matter that I have them turned off. No more 2-step authentication, no more prompting for log in. So I went to my Applications folder so I could uninstall it. But to my utter surprise another app from Google was just sitting there in Launchpad. I was completely shocked, and immediately lost my temper because the only Google software I installed on my Mac was Google Chrome. I still need to open it for certain sites that won't work on Safari, but that's the only time I bother.Google Chrome is full of it! Not more than a week ago I just happened to look through Launchpad and found a Google app icon sitting there. And it still doesn't remember my device despite the hundreds of times I've done it. Kirkman dmgI couldn't contain my anger. Not even two or three minutes went by and now four apps I DID NOT install were sitting there in Launchpad. Words cannot express how furious I was to see this. Guess what? Along with it, now I saw three other Google apps installed. WTH? Oh, I completely lost it! I thought to myself my computer, my Mac is hacked! There is no need for me to tell Google to go to hell because that is already a certainty! This review also serves as fair warning to anyone with Google software installed on your computer(s). I can care less how much anyone else love's Google, neither do I care if they think their experience with this completely intrusive developer has been a bed of roses, and neither do I care if somewhere deep in the terms of service a statement exists giving Google permission to install whatever the hell they want any time they want. Long story short, Google can kiss the deepest portions of the crack of my ass! I will never install another Google app on my computer or any other computer for as long as I live. Immediately I began uninstalling everything Google on my computer. It is a good thing Apple has this app called Launchpad because without it I would never have known Google violated my privacy, and installed apps without my consent. Anyone willing, and that is a keyword, willing to continue using Google apps on your computer will not get any flack from me, but I do recommend you get your head examined because you're an idiot! And that's your choice to live with Google putting invisible/hidden malware/spyware applications on your computer. From here on out I completely consider all Google software to be malware/spyware, especially because these apps were installed in an invisible/hidden folder named Google Apps in my Applications folder. Nonetheless, I do recall seeing Google Drive as one of the four.
